Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. (Proverbs 8:17)

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (St. Matthew 18:3)

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (St. Matthew 18:4)

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. (St. Matthew 6:5)

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. (St. Matthew 6:6)

Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. (St. Matthew 6:16)

But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; (St. Matthew 6:17)

That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. (St. Matthew 6:18)

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. (Proverbs 24:10)

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16)
